Workers of JCDecaux España, SLU are entitled to receive the new salaries from 1 January 2026. The Resolución de 23 de marzo de 2026 of the Dirección General de Trabajo, published in the BOE on 2 April 2026, registers and gives full legal effect to the salary review record agreed between the employer and trade union representatives of the company.
This means that any worker subject to the II Convenio Colectivo de JCDecaux España may claim the difference between what they received since January and the new amounts set out in the tables. The company cannot defer this regularisation.
What does this regulation establish?
The resolution registers and publishes the salary review record for the 2026 financial year of the II Convenio Colectivo de JCDecaux España, SLU. The three updated elements are:
| Updated concept | Regulatory basis | Scope of application |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 salary tables | II Convenio Colectivo JCDecaux España | All company workers subject to the agreement |
| Collective medical insurance amount | II Convenio Colectivo JCDecaux España | Workers entitled to this benefit under the agreement |
| Article 40 bonus | Article 40 of the II Convenio Colectivo JCDecaux España | Workers entitled to this bonus under the agreement |
The agreement was reached between the employer and trade union representatives of JCDecaux España, SLU. Its publication in the BOE grants it full legal effect and binding force on both parties. The specific amounts for each concept are set out in the salary tables annexed to the resolution, available in the full text published in the BOE (BOE-A-2026-7527).
Economic and operational impact
The main operational impact for JCDecaux España is the retroactivity from 1 January 2026. The resolution is published on 2 April, creating a three-month gap during which salaries may have been paid at the previous amounts. The company must calculate and pay the accumulated salary differences for that period.
The three cost fronts to review are:
- Salary differences: For each worker, the difference between the salary paid in January, February and March 2026 and the new amount in the 2026 tables.
- Collective medical insurance: If the new amount exceeds the previous one, the company must adjust the premiums or contributions from January 2026.
- Article 40 bonus: The new amount must be applied in accordance with the conditions and periodicity established in the agreement, with the corresponding retroactive adjustments.
In addition to the direct cost, there is an impact on Social Security contributions: if the new salaries exceed the previous ones, the contribution bases for the months already settled must be reviewed and, where applicable, supplemented.
Who is affected?
- JCDecaux España, SLU: As the company obliged to apply the new tables, regularise arrears and update the medical insurance and Article 40 bonus amounts.
- JCDecaux España workers subject to the II Convenio Colectivo: They are entitled to receive the new amounts from 1 January 2026 and may demand compliance.
- Trade union representation of JCDecaux España: As a signatory party to the record, it has the capacity to verify compliance and act in the event of non-compliance.
- HR and payroll department of JCDecaux España: Responsible for implementing the changes in payroll systems and calculating retroactive differences.
Practical example
Suppose a worker of JCDecaux España subject to the II Convenio Colectivo who had been receiving a monthly salary according to the previous year's tables. If the new 2026 salary tables set a higher amount for their job category, the company must pay them the difference corresponding to January, February and March 2026 in the first payment in which the new tables are applied.
The same applies to the collective medical insurance: if the new agreed amount exceeds the one previously applied, the company must regularise the difference from 1 January. And for the Article 40 bonus, if its accrual or payment has already partially occurred during the first quarter, the new amount must be taken into account in the calculation.
To find out the exact amounts for each concept and category, it is essential to consult the annexed salary tables published in the official BOE text (BOE-A-2026-7527).
What should companies do now?
- Download the 2026 salary tables from the BOE: Access the full text of resolution BOE-A-2026-7527 and obtain the exact amounts by professional category, the new medical insurance amount and the Article 40 bonus.
- Calculate retroactive differences: For each worker, compare the salary paid in January, February and March 2026 with the new table amount and quantify the difference to be regularised.
- Update the payroll system: Enter the new amounts into the payroll software so that remuneration from April onwards already reflects the 2026 tables.
- Review Social Security contributions: If the new salaries generate higher contribution bases than those declared in previous months, assess the need to supplement the settlements already submitted.
- Update the collective medical insurance: Contact the insurer to adjust the premiums to the new amount agreed in the agreement, with effect from 1 January 2026.
- Communicate to workers: Inform staff of the new amounts and the arrears regularisation schedule, to avoid individual claims.
