What does this regulation establish?

The resolution publishes the list of vacant positions in the Judicial Assistance Corps in the scope of La Rioja that are offered to approved candidates in the extraordinary call JUS/1327/2022. The 16 positions are distributed among the following municipalities:

The rules of the selection procedure are as follows:

• Deadline: 10 business days from publication in the BOE (from June 5, 2026).
• Channel: Exclusively via electronic means through the electronic office of the Government of La Rioja. In-person applications or other means are not accepted.
• Minimum number of positions to request: Each candidate must request at least as many positions as their examination number. Failure to meet this requirement exposes the candidate to forced allocation.
• Nature of the destination: Definitive. Once assigned, it cannot be changed by transfer request until two years have elapsed since the allocation resolution.
• Appeal: An appeal can be filed with the Counselor of Health and Social Policies within one month from notification.

Economic and operational impact

For approved candidates, the impact is not economic in the strict sense, but vital and professional. The assigned destination determines the workplace for at least two years, with all the implications that entails: change of residence, cost of living, family distance and working conditions in each judicial body.

The two-year restriction on transfer requests is the most relevant operational element. It means that whoever accepts a destination in a small municipality like San Asensio or Cenicero will not be able to request a transfer to Logroño until two full years have elapsed since the allocation resolution. This limitation is standard in the public service, but it is important to keep it in mind when ordering preferences.

The risk of forced allocation is the other critical factor: if a candidate does not request a number of positions equal to or greater than their examination number, the administration can assign them any available position without taking their preferences into account.

Who does it affect?

• Approved candidates in the extraordinary selection process for the Judicial Assistance Corps of the Administration of Justice, called by Order JUS/1327/2022, of December 28, who have obtained a destination in the territorial scope of La Rioja.
• Candidates with an examination number that corresponds to them to choose among the positions published in this resolution.
• Active civil servants of the Judicial Assistance Corps who may be indirectly affected by the filling of these vacancies.

Practical example

Suppose an approved candidate has examination number 7. According to the resolution, they must request at least 7 of the 16 available positions. If they only request 3 positions (for example, Logroño, Calahorra and Haro), they fail to meet the minimum requirement and are exposed to forced allocation: the administration could assign them any of the remaining positions, including municipalities like Cenicero, San Asensio or Cervera, regardless of their preference.

To avoid this, this candidate should include in their electronic application at least 7 of the 8 available municipalities, ordered by preference. The system will allocate the first available position according to the order of preference and the examination number.

What should approved candidates do now?

1. Verify if you are included in the La Rioja scope according to the JUS/1327/2022 call. Only candidates assigned to this territorial scope should take action.
2. Check your examination number to know how many positions you must request at minimum. This information is essential before accessing the form.
3. Access the electronic office of the Government of La Rioja within 10 business days from June 5, 2026. No other channel is accepted.
4. Order your preferences among the 8 available municipalities (Logroño, Calahorra, Haro, Cenicero, Arnedo, San Asensio, Cervera and Santo Domingo), making sure to include at least as many positions as your examination number.
5. Save the electronic receipt of the submitted application as proof of compliance with the deadline.
6. If you disagree with the assigned destination, file an appeal with the Counselor of Health and Social Policies within one month from notification.
