Rural Guards Approved 2026: 3-month deadline to request the TIP

To complete the process you must:

1. Pay the licensing fee through form 790, code 15 and keep the payment receipt.
2. Gather the photographs required in the call.
3. Obtain the psychophysical fitness certificate in original format (photocopies or digital copies do not work).
4. Submit all documentation to the Civil Guard Command of your province before October 8, 2026.

If you submit the request on October 9, 2026, one day after the deadline, you will no longer be able to obtain the TIP directly: you will have to prove again certain requirements from the call, extending the authorization process.

What should approved candidates do now?

1. Confirm that your name appears on the official list of suitable candidates published in the BOE of July 8, 2026 (reference BOE-A-2026-14859).
2. Pay the licensing fee through form 790, code 15, and keep the original receipt.
3. Verify the validity of the psychophysical fitness certificate: it must be in force and presented in original format. If it has expired, request a new one with sufficient notice.
4. Prepare the photographs required according to the conditions of the call.
5. Submit the request to the corresponding Civil Guard Command before October 8, 2026. Do not wait until the last days to avoid appointment or incomplete documentation problems.
6. If you disagree with the result, file an optional reconsideration appeal within one month of publication, or an administrative contentious appeal before the National Court.
