The correction introduces two specific changes:

The legal basis for incorporating this qualification is the Agreement of the Joint Commission of November 2025, which had already recognized the equivalence but was not correctly transferred to the text of the initial call. The correction remedies that error and ensures that all applicants qualified by that agreement can compete on equal terms.

A technician with the title of Higher Technician in Industrial Mechatronics wanted to apply for positions in the M1-General Maintenance specialty at the Ministry of Industry and Tourism. When reviewing the original call of July 3, 2026, he found that his qualification was not listed among the enabling ones and decided not to register.

After the publication of this correction on August 3, 2026, his qualification is expressly recognized. He has 5 additional business days from the day following the end of the original deadline to submit his application and participate in the selective process under the same conditions as other applicants.

If he had already registered relying on another compatible qualification, he does not need to do anything: his application maintains its full validity.

What should applicants do now?

1. Verify if you have the Higher Technician in Industrial Mechatronics: if this is your case and you had not registered because it was not listed in the original call, you can now do so within the extended deadline of 5 business days.
2. Check the end of the original deadline: the extended deadline starts the day following the end of the deadline established in the July 3, 2026 call. Calculate the 5 business days precisely so you don't miss the window.
3. If you already submitted an application, do nothing: your registration is valid without the need for resubmission or additional confirmation.
