Practical example

A Labour Inspector currently based in Madrid submitted their contest application including as first preference position number 33 (Inspector N26, code 542094) in Barcelona, and as second preference a position in Valencia.

Following the publication of this correction on August 3, 2026, position 33 is eliminated. Their application remains in the system, but the first preference no longer exists. Since the deadline is not reopened, they cannot add new options. In this case, the recommendation is to contact the calling body immediately (Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy) to learn how their application will be treated: whether it is considered valid with the second preference, whether it is excluded, or if there is any extraordinary remedy mechanism.

In the case of position 210 in Donostia/San Sebastián, an Inspector who requested it with the old code '511212/48' must verify that the system recognizes their application with the corrected code '511212/24', to avoid a code error excluding them from the process.

1. Verify if you applied for position 33 in Barcelona: Review your application submitted in the contest. If it included position number 33 (code 542094, N26, Barcelona), that position no longer exists in the call.
2. Contact the calling body: If your application is affected by the elimination of position 33, contact the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy to learn how your participation will be treated. Do not wait for the process to advance without clarifying your situation.
3. Verify the code of position 210 if you applied for Donostia: Check that your application for position 210 (N27, Donostia/San Sebastián) correctly reflects the code '511212/24' and not the old '511212/48'. If there is a discrepancy, report it to the calling body.
4. Do not wait for the deadline to be reopened: The resolution is explicit: the application deadline is not reopened. There is no additional window to submit new applications or modify existing ones under this correction.
