What does this regulation establish?

The General Directorate of Justice and Self-Government publishes the vacant positions corresponding to the territorial scope of the Valencian Community, available for approved candidates in the selective process for internal promotion and competitive examination system to the Procedural and Administrative Processing Body of the Administration of Justice, called by Order PJC/150/2024, of February 19.

The positions are distributed among the following locations:

• Alicante
• Castellón
• Valencia
• Alcoy
• Benidorm
• Elche
• Gandia
• Other locations in the Valencian Community

Economic and operational impact

Although this resolution does not imply direct economic costs for private organizations, it does have a very relevant operational impact for the affected civil servants and for the human resources units of the judicial bodies of the Valencian Community:

• For approved candidates: the assigned position determines the workplace for a minimum of two years. Poor deadline management (or failure to submit a request) can result in being assigned to an undesired location without the possibility of transfer until that period has elapsed.
• For judicial bodies: the coverage of vacant positions strengthens the procedural processing staff in the affected locations, improving the operational capacity of the courts and tribunals of the Valencian Community.
• Permanent character of the position: unlike provisional positions, the one assigned in this process is not reviewable in the short term. The two-year blocking for transfer competitions is a significant operational restriction for those who aspire to change positions.

Who does it affect?

• Civil servants who have passed the selective process for internal promotion to the Procedural and Administrative Processing Body of the Administration of Justice, call PJC/150/2024.
• Approved candidates whose territorial scope of participation is the Valencian Community.
• Human resources units of the Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Participation of the Generalitat Valenciana.
• Judicial bodies in Alicante, Castellón, Valencia, Alcoy, Benidorm, Elche, Gandia and other locations in the Valencian Community that have vacant positions pending coverage.

Practical example

Suppose a civil servant approved in the PJC/150/2024 call resides in Valencia and wants to continue working in that city. They have until the last business day of the 10-day period from June 25, 2026 to submit their position request through the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat Valenciana, indicating Valencia as the first choice and other locations as alternative options.

If they do not submit the request within that deadline, the administration will assign them a forced position by alphabetical order of locations, which could mean being assigned to Alcoy, Alicante or Benidorm, regardless of their preference or personal situation. Once the position is allocated, they will not be able to request a transfer during the two years following the allocation resolution.

On the other hand, if they submit a request including sufficient positions in their preference list and their score is competitive, they have guarantees of obtaining a position according to their preferences.

What should approved candidates do now?

1. Verify if you are included in the PJC/150/2024 call: check that your selective process corresponds to Order PJC/150/2024, of February 19, and that your territorial scope is the Valencian Community.
2. Calculate the exact deadline: the 10 business day period begins on June 25, 2026 (publication date in the BOE). Identify the exact deadline by discounting holidays and weekends.
3. Prepare your list of preferred positions: consult the available positions published in the resolution and include in your request the largest possible number of locations in order of preference, to minimize the risk of forced assignment.
4. Access the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat Valenciana: the position request must be submitted exclusively through this channel. Make sure you have your digital certificate or Cl@ve active before the deadline.
5. Submit the request before the deadline expires: do not wait until the last day. A technical problem or access issue to the electronic headquarters could leave you without the option to choose a position.
6. Keep in mind the two-year blocking: the assigned position will be permanent. Carefully consider your preferences before submitting the request, as you will not be able to participate in transfer competitions during the two years following the allocation resolution.
