Court Processing Positions in Madrid 2026: destinations and deadlines for candidates

Practical example

Imagine you are an official approved in the internal promotion call (Order PJC/150/2024) and reside in Alcobendas. The resolution published on June 25, 2026 includes positions in Alcobendas, Madrid capital and Fuenlabrada, among other municipalities.

You have 10 business days from June 25 to submit your destination request—electronically or at a Citizen Service Office—indicating in order of preference the positions you desire. If your score in the selective process is sufficiently high, you will obtain the position in Alcobendas (your first preference). If not, the system will assign you the next available according to your score.

If you do not submit any request within that deadline, the administration will assign you a destination forcibly by alphabetical order of municipalities, without being able to choose. And that destination will be definitive for at least two years, with no possibility of participating in transfer competitions until that period expires.

What should approved candidates do now?

1. Verify if you are on the list of approved candidates in the selective process for internal promotion called by Order PJC/150/2024. Only those approved in that process can request a position in this call.
2. Consult the complete list of offered positions published by the General Directorate of Human Resources of Madrid in the BOE of June 25, 2026, available at the official source.
3. Prepare and submit your destination request before the 10 business day deadline expires (from June 25, 2026). You can do this electronically or at Citizen Service Offices.
4. Order the positions by real preference, keeping in mind that the assigned destination will be definitive and that you will not be able to participate in transfer competitions for two years.
5. Do not let the deadline pass: if you do not request a destination or do not obtain any of the requested positions, forced assignment is made by alphabetical order of municipalities, with no possibility of choice.
