From that date, the correction period begins.

What does this resolution establish?

The Undersecretary of Transport publishes the provisional —not final— list of admitted and excluded persons in the selection process for entry into the Aeronautical Engineers Corps, both through the open access system and through internal promotion. Being provisional, it opens a period for claims before the list becomes final.

The three main sections of the resolution are:

• Provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates, with indication of the exclusion reasons for each affected candidate.

Operational impact: exclusion reasons and deadlines

The most frequent exclusion reasons identified in the resolution are three. Knowing them is key to understanding what documentation you need to provide in the correction:

The 10 business day period is non-extendable. Those who do not correct or claim within that period are permanently excluded from the selection process, with no possibility of ordinary appeal at that stage.

Who does it affect?

• Excluded candidates on the provisional list: must act immediately to correct or claim before the 10 business day deadline expires.
• Admitted candidates: must prepare to attend the first exam on September 17, 2026 at CEDEX (Alfonso XII Street, 3, Madrid) with black or blue ink pen and valid identity document.
• Internal promotion candidates: especially affected if the administration has not been able to verify their requirements; must provide documentation proving their administrative status.
• Candidates with fee exemption due to income below the minimum wage: if the accreditation was rejected, must review and complete the supporting documentation.

Practical example

Imagine an internal promotion candidate receives notification of exclusion because the Undersecretary has not been able to verify that they meet the seniority or group membership requirements established by the April 23, 2026 call.

That candidate has until the end of the tenth business day counted from July 8, 2026 to present to the calling organization the documentation proving their status: certificate of services rendered, appointment resolution or any other official document that allows verification of compliance with internal promotion requirements. If they do not do so within that period, their exclusion becomes final and they will not be able to participate in the first exam on September 17.

For admitted candidates, the example is simpler: on September 17, 2026 they must be at CEDEX (Alfonso XII Street, 3, Madrid) before 10:00 a.m., with black or blue ink pen and valid ID, NIE or passport. The lack of any of these elements may prevent access to the exam.

What should you do now?

1. Check the provisional list in the BOE (publication of July 8, 2026) to verify if your name appears as admitted or excluded and, in the latter case, what is the specific reason for exclusion.
2. If you are excluded, act before the 10 business days expire: gather the documentation that corrects the indicated defect (academic qualification, accreditation of internal promotion requirements or proof of income below the minimum wage) and present it to the calling organization.
3. If you are admitted, mark on your calendar September 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at CEDEX, Alfonso XII Street, 3, Madrid, and prepare the mandatory materials: black or blue ink pen and valid identity document.
4. Keep an eye on the publication of the final list of admitted and excluded candidates, which will be published after the correction period and will resolve the claims submitted.
5. If you have doubts about your exclusion reason, contact the calling organization before the deadline expires: a timely inquiry can prevent permanent exclusion.
