Candidates who have passed the extraordinary selective process for the Judicial Assistance Corps of the Administration of Justice now have their official list published. The Order PJC/1175/2026, published on 7 November 2026, makes that relationship effective and immediately activates the documentation deadline. The process was called in November 2024 through Order PJC/1357/2024 and is reserved for persons with disabilities through a merit-based competition system.
The clock is already running. From the date of publication in the BOE, passed candidates have 10 working days to prove to the Ministry that they meet all requirements. Those who fail to do so will lose their appointment.
What does this regulation establish?
Order PJC/1175/2026 publishes the definitive list of persons who have passed the extraordinary selective process for the Judicial Assistance Corps, reserved for persons with disabilities through merit-based competition. The passed candidates are distributed by territorial areas and must follow a two-phase process:
- Phase 1 — Documentation (immediate deadline): submit within 10 working days the supporting documentation to the Ministry of Justice.
- Phase 2 — Request for assignment: once requirements are verified, request assignment in accordance with the deadlines established by the Ministry and the competent Autonomous Communities.
The territorial areas with passed candidates are as follows:
Territorial area
---
Andalusia
Aragon
Asturias
Canary Islands
Cantabria
Catalonia
Valencian Community
La Rioja
Madrid
Navarre
Basque Country
Ministry of Justice
The documentation that each passed candidate must submit within the deadline is:
- Declaration of non-incompatibility
- Disability certificate
- Medical certificate of functional capacity
- Copy of ID (where applicable)
- Academic qualification (where applicable)
Economic and operational impact
For passed candidates, the impact is direct and personal: appointment as a career civil servant implies job stability, fixed remuneration according to the professional group of the Judicial Assistance Corps and access to career advancement in the Administration of Justice.
The operational risk is clear: failing to submit documentation within the 10 working days is equivalent to losing the appointment. There is no margin for correction once the deadline has passed, as established by the order itself. This makes immediate document management the absolute priority for any passed candidate.
Additionally, the assignment request phase—which will be activated at a later time—will depend on the deadlines set by both the Ministry of Justice and the Autonomous Communities with transferred competencies. Passed candidates must remain alert to official communications from their corresponding territorial area.
Who does it affect?
- Persons with disabilities passed in the extraordinary selective process for the Judicial Assistance Corps called by Order PJC/1357/2024.
- Candidates distributed in the 12 territorial areas mentioned (Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Catalonia, Valencian Community, La Rioja, Madrid, Navarre, Basque Country and Ministry of Justice).
- HR managers and advisors who accompany passed candidates in document processing.
- Autonomous Communities with transferred competencies in the matter of Administration of Justice, which must establish their own deadlines for requesting assignment.
Practical example
Let's imagine a person passed in the territorial area of Catalonia. Order PJC/1175/2026 is published on 7 November 2026, so the 10 working day deadline begins on that same day. Discounting weekends and holidays, the deadline expires approximately on 21 November 2026 (subject to the official working days calendar).
This person must gather and submit to the Ministry of Justice: their declaration of non-incompatibility, the current disability certificate, the medical certificate of functional capacity, copy of ID and the required academic qualification. If by day 22 they have not delivered any of these documents, they automatically lose the right to appointment, regardless of their position on the passed list.
Once this phase is completed, they must wait for the Generalitat de Catalunya—as an Autonomous Community with competencies in Justice—to publish the deadlines for requesting assignment within its territory.
What should passed candidates do now?
- Verify your inclusion on the official list: consult Order PJC/1175/2026 in the BOE to confirm that your name appears among the passed candidates in your territorial area.
- Gather the documentation immediately: prepare without delay the declaration of non-incompatibility, the disability certificate, the medical certificate of functional capacity, copy of ID and the required academic qualification.
- Submit the documentation before the 10 working days expire from 7 November 2026. Do not wait until the last day: obtaining certificates can take time.
- Stay alert to assignment request deadlines: once requirements are verified, the Ministry of Justice and the Autonomous Communities will publish the deadlines for requesting assignment. Subscribe to official notifications from your territorial area.
- Consult a specialized advisor if you have doubts about the validity or currency of any of the required documents, especially the medical certificate of functional capacity.
