Civil servants who passed the selective process for internal promotion to the Court Administration Body of the Administration of Justice in Aragón must act immediately. The General Directorate of Justice has published the vacant positions available in its territorial scope, with permanent and temporary assignments in the three Aragonese provinces: Huesca, Teruel and Zaragoza. The regulatory reference is the Resolution of July 9, 2026, published in the BOE on July 16, 2026, in implementation of the call Order PJC/150/2024, of February 19.

The deadline is short and the consequences of not acting are significant: forced assignment by alphabetical order of localities can result in an undesired position with no possibility of immediate appeal.

What does this regulation establish?

The Resolution publishes the list of vacant positions in the scope of the Autonomous Community of Aragón corresponding to the selective process for internal promotion and competitive examination to the Court Administration Body of the Administration of Justice, called by Order PJC/150/2024.

The positions offered have two different natures:

  • Permanent positions: stable assignment with all the implications of a consolidated position.
  • Temporary positions: temporary assignment subject to future personnel movements.

The localities with available positions are:

  • Huesca
  • Teruel
  • Zaragoza

The assignment rules are as follows:

Economic and operational impact

This resolution does not generate direct economic costs for those affected, but it does have a relevant operational and professional impact that should be properly assessed:

  • Real geographic mobility: the positions span three Aragonese provinces. An approved candidate residing in Zaragoza can be forcibly assigned to Huesca or Teruel if they do not act within the deadline or if their preferred positions are already assigned.
  • Mobility freeze for 2 years: the position obtained is equivalent to one from a competition, which prevents participation in transfer calls during that period. This limits the ability to relocate if the initial position is not the desired one.
  • Risk of undesired assignment: those who do not submit an application or do not obtain any of the requested positions are subject to alphabetical order of localities, with no margin for choice.
  • Forced nature of assignment: it is not possible to refuse the position once assigned without consequences for the civil servant's administrative status.

Who does it affect?

  • Civil servants who have passed the selective process for internal promotion to the Court Administration Body of the Administration of Justice, in the call Order PJC/150/2024.
  • Approved candidates whose position corresponds to the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Aragón.
  • Candidates with available positions in Huesca, Teruel or Zaragoza.

It does not affect civil servants from other autonomous communities or those approved through the open competition (this resolution is exclusive to the internal promotion process).

Practical example

A civil servant approved in internal promotion with exam number 5 must request, at minimum, 5 positions from those offered in Aragón. If their score places them in a high position on the ranking, they will have priority to choose among the available positions in Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel.

If this civil servant does not submit an application within 10 business days from July 16, 2026, the Administration will forcibly assign them a position by alphabetical order of localities: first Huesca, then Teruel and finally Zaragoza. Once the position is assigned, they cannot participate in transfer competitions for the following 2 years, regardless of whether the position is convenient or not.

If they submit an application but none of the requested positions remain available for their score level, the result is the same: forced assignment by alphabetical order.

What should approved candidates do now?

  1. Verify publication in the BOE: confirm the exact publication date (July 16, 2026) to accurately calculate the expiration of the 10 business days. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays in Aragón.
  2. Consult the published list of positions: review the complete list of permanent and temporary positions available in Huesca, Teruel and Zaragoza, as shown in the Resolution of July 9, 2026.
  3. Prepare the position request: access the Electronic Registry of the Government of Aragón and complete the application including, at minimum, as many positions as the assigned exam number.
  4. Prioritize positions by order of real preference: given that assignment is forced and the position obtained blocks participation in competitions for 2 years, the choice must be carefully considered. Include "safety" positions at the end of the list to avoid assignment by alphabetical order.
  5. Submit the application before the deadline expires: do not wait until the last day. Technical problems in the Electronic Registry do not exempt from compliance with the deadline.
  6. Keep the submission receipt: save the acknowledgment of receipt from the Electronic Registry as proof of timely submission.

Frequently asked questions

What is the deadline to request a position in the Court Administration positions in Aragón?

The deadline is 10 business days counted from the publication of the resolution in the BOE, which took place on July 16, 2026. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays. The application must be submitted through the Electronic Registry of the Government of Aragón.

What happens if I do not submit a position request within the deadline?

If no application is submitted within the 10 business day deadline, or if none of the requested positions remain available, the Administration forcibly assigns a position by alphabetical order of localities (Huesca, Teruel, Zaragoza). There is no possibility of choice in that case.

How many positions must I request at minimum?

The regulation requires requesting at least as many positions as the exam number assigned to the candidate. It is advisable to include more positions than the minimum to reduce the risk of forced assignment by alphabetical order.

Can I participate in transfer competitions after obtaining the position?

Not during the first 2 years. The position obtained in this process is equivalent to a competition position, which prevents participation in new transfer competition calls during that period. After 2 years, the ability to participate is recovered.

In which localities are positions available for Court Administration in Aragón?

The published positions correspond to the territorial scope of the Autonomous Community of Aragón, with assignments in the three provinces: Huesca, Teruel and Zaragoza. The positions can be permanent or temporary, as detailed in the Resolution of July 9, 2026.
