Owners of homes in the Laredo, Mouro and Capricho de Nates buildings, in the Marina del Cantábrico Sports Port in Santander, face a change in legal regime with direct consequences on the ownership of the land occupied by their properties. The Order TRM/622/2026 resolves an anomalous situation that has persisted for decades: residential use is incompatible with port public domain according to the Ports Law, and these buildings were constructed on land that, until now, remained state public domain.
