Candidates who appear as excluded or omitted on the provisional lists have 10 business days from publication in the BOE to file their claim or remedy the defect that caused their exclusion. The procedure must be carried out exclusively through the administracion.gob.es portal.

Once the remediation period ends, the definitive lists will be published. Against these definitive lists, interested parties may file claims before the Social Courts of Madrid. There is no other means of challenge prior to that phase.

If they do so correctly and within the deadline, they will move to the definitive list of admitted candidates and will be able to take the exam on January 31, 2027 at the ETSICCP of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

If they do not act within that deadline, they will be definitively excluded from this call. Their only subsequent option would be to challenge the definitive list by filing a claim before the Social Courts of Madrid, with the legal costs that entails and without guarantee of success.

What should candidates do now?

1. Check the provisional lists immediately: Access the administracion.gob.es portal and locate your name in the list of admitted or excluded candidates for your professional group (M2, M1, E2 or E1).
2. Verify the status of your application: Check if you appear as admitted, excluded or omitted. If you are excluded, identify the specific reason for exclusion indicated in the list.
3. Remedy within the deadline if you are excluded or omitted: You have 10 business days from September 8, 2026 to submit the necessary documentation or correction through administracion.gob.es. Do not wait until the last day.
4. Plan your trip to Madrid: All exams are held at the ETSICCP of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Book accommodation and transportation in advance if you reside outside the capital, especially for the dates of January 24 and 31, 2027.
5. Prepare the means of challenge if applicable: If after the definitive lists you believe your exclusion is unjustified, the only available means is filing a claim before the Social Courts of Madrid. Consult with a labor lawyer before deciding.
