The final list of persons proposed to enter as students in the military training centers of the Military Health Corps is now public. The Resolution 452/38358/2026, published in the BOE on August 15, 2026, closes the selection process and activates the presentation deadlines. From this moment on, the selected candidates have limited time to formalize their incorporation.

Access is structured in two differentiated routes: direct entry and promotion for corps change. Each route has its own presentation date and its own conditions. Confusing both or not respecting the deadlines has direct and irreversible consequences on the position.

What does this regulation establish?

The General Directorate of Recruitment and Military Education publishes, through this resolution, the final list of persons proposed to be appointed students with a view to entry into military training centers. The objective is incorporation, as a career military officer, into two scales of the Military Health Corps of the Armed Forces:

The regulation expressly establishes that non-presentation on the indicated date without justified cause implies automatic resignation from the position. This is not an administrative sanction: it is a direct consequence provided for in the resolution itself, without the possibility of ordinary appeal for that reason.

Additionally, candidates who do not have prior military status must sign an incorporation document to the Armed Forces at the time of presentation. This procedure is mandatory and forms part of the formalization process for entry.

Economic and operational impact

This resolution does not generate direct costs for companies or the Administration beyond those inherent to the military training process. The impact is fundamentally operational and personal for the selected candidates:

• Resignation from current employment: Candidates working in the private or public sector must manage their termination or leave of absence before the presentation date, which may involve notice periods and negotiation with their current employer.
• Transfer to Zaragoza: Presentation is in-person at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza. Selected candidates residing outside Aragón must organize and cover their travel and, if applicable, temporary accommodation.
• Signing of incorporation commitment: Candidates without prior military status acquire a legal bond with the Armed Forces from the moment of signing. This has implications for availability, geographic mobility, and applicable disciplinary regime.
• Start of regulated training: After presentation, students are subject to the internal regime of military training centers, with the obligations and rights that this entails.

Who does it affect?

• Candidates included in the final list of admitted candidates published in Resolution 452/38358/2026 for the Officers Scale of the Military Health Corps (specialties: Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry and Psychology).
• Candidates included in the final list for the Nursing Officers Scale of the Military Health Corps.
• Candidates accessing through direct entry (without prior military status or with it).
• Candidates accessing through promotion for corps change (career military officers who change corps).
• Current employers of selected candidates, who must manage the employee's termination or leave of absence.

Practical example

A physician who has passed the selection process through the direct entry route for the Officers Scale of the Military Health Corps (Medicine specialty) and who currently works at a private clinic in Madrid must:

1. Notify their employer of resignation or request voluntary leave of absence, respecting the notice period agreed in the contract or collective agreement.
2. Organize travel to Zaragoza for August 17, 2026, before the time indicated in the resolution.
3. At the time of presentation, sign the incorporation document to the Armed Forces, since they do not have prior military status.
4. From that moment on, they are subject to the regime of the assigned military training center.

If this physician does not present on August 17 without justified cause, they automatically lose their position, with no possibility of recovering it through this call. There is no grace period or subsanation procedure provided for in this case.

What should selected candidates do now?

1. Confirm your inclusion in the final list: Access the resolution published in the BOE and verify that your name appears in the final list corresponding to your scale and access route.
2. Identify your presentation date: If you access through direct entry, your date is August 17, 2026. If you access through promotion for corps change, your date is August 31, 2026. Both presentations are at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza.
3. Manage your current employment situation: If you have an active job, notify your employer of your situation as soon as possible to process termination, leave of absence, or any other arrangement that corresponds according to your contract and collective agreement.
4. Prepare incorporation documentation: If you do not have prior military status, you must sign the incorporation document to the Armed Forces at the time of presentation. Find out in advance what additional documentation may be required.
5. Organize travel to Zaragoza: Presentation is in-person. Book transportation and accommodation in advance, especially if you live far from Zaragoza, given the limited time available.
6. Do not fail without justification: Unjustified absence implies automatic and irrevocable resignation from the position. If there is any cause of force majeure, document it and communicate it to the General Directorate of Recruitment and Military Education before the presentation date.
